My goal with Happyolks is to celebrate the experience of creating a wholesome meal and the happiness that inherently grows from it. In the garden, at the farmers market, and from the heart of our kitchens, we have a chance at each mealtime to express our gratitude to the earth, the day, and one another.
I’m Kelsey, Shaun captures our photos and films. We met as teens and have been navigating this crazy life (holding hands and bonking elbows) ever since. He’s my best friend, great love, and the hardest working, most passionate man I know. I’m the writer, cultivator, and home cook living by the motto I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart. We currently live in Denver, Colorado.
Over the course of the past four years, Happyolks has reinforced for me that we are not alone; there are thousands of people in this big crazy world who share similar passions, interests, and goals. Together, we can be better, do better, and inspire new ideas and new ways to look at our time on this earthplane. My mind has been consistently blown by your love, generosity, and kind regard. I keep you all with me in my heart.
